Stephanie Welder, MS,

Founder

As Founder of Access College and Career Consultants, LLC, and principal consultant, I share expert knowledge, professional resources, and caring support with those who are ready to access their future.

After a long career as a substitute teacher, I became frustrated with not seeing the outcomes of the material I had taught during the teacher’s absence.

My own children had been helped dramatically by the educational consultant we hired. From him, I had learned to simplify, clarify and de-stress the college application process and decided that it was time to pivot my career into working with families and their college-bound students. My counseling degree and years of working with high school students proved to be a strong background for this new direction.

As I explored college admissions I discovered the parallel to the steps required to get a job: the research, preparation of materials, interview skills and evaluating offers are the same. I’m able to assist graduating students and adults who are looking for a new or different job by constantly updating my knowledge of current trends and challenges. I believe that by teaching clients to become proficient job applicants they will be able to help themselves without depending on recruiters or consultants each time they move forward. In their career.

My clients come from all walks of life but they share a commitment to educating their children where they can thrive and prepare for entering the world of work. I help them find academic challenge, a comfortable social setting where they can blossom, and a financial fit.
